Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)
This course (UEE22020) provides students with insight into the electrotechnology discipline. Students will learn basic skills including the safety processes required to work on-site, readying them for entry level roles or apprenticeships in the the electrical industry. Students may enter this course at the start of Year 11, mid Year 11(where available) and at the start of Year 12.
Pathway outcomes
The Certificate II in Electrotechnology can establish a basis for further education, training and employment in the fields of:
- electrical and electronics
- engineering
- renewable energy
- refrigeration and air-conditioning
- computer aided design operation
Completion requirements
This qualification will be granted when competency is demonstrated and achieved for 13 units of competency, delivered by the registered training organisation. These include:
- 8 core units, plus
- 5 elective units
