Certificate II in Engineering Pathways
Completed in one school year, this course (MEM20422) provides students with broad-based skills and knowledge required to undertake a range of engineering and manufacturing tasks. Students may enter this course at the start of Year 11, mid Year 11 (if available) and at the start of Year 12.
Pathway outcomes
The Certificate II in Engineering Pathways will enhance students’ entry-level employment prospects for:
- apprenticeships
- traineeships, or
- general employment in an engineering-related workplace.
Completion requirements
This qualification will be granted when competency is demonstrated and achieved in a minimum of 12 units as described below:
- 4 core units, plus
- 8 elective units.
