Our training centre is a $4.1 million purpose-built training facility, located in the grounds of Mitchelton State High School. Our centre is available to the community for hire. Our facilities include several air-conditioned, multi-functional rooms which are suitable for
training,
meetings or special events.
Technical workshops and
office spaces are also available.
Engineering workshop
Our modern, well-equipped engineering workshop consists of:
- 6 metal (geared head) lathes
- 8 welding bays
- 4 grinding bays
- 2 plasma cutting bays
- 4 oxyacetylene bays
- milling machines
- pedestal drills
- pedestal grinder
- cold saw
- horizontal band saw.
Electrotechnology workshop
Our modern, well-equipped, air-conditioned workshop provides seating for 16 at work benches and an additional 16 work spaces.

- outside eating area with tables and chairs (seating 32).
