Certificate II in Hospitality
This qualification (SIT20322) covers the skills and knowledge that students require to enter the hospitality industry in a variety of roles, including food preparation, cafe and restaurant employment and customer service. The course will develop students' skills in barista work, responsible service of alcohol, table service and more.

The Certificate II in Hospitality will prepare students for employment and further study in a range of roles, with job titles including:

- bar attendant
- cafe attendant
- catering assistant
- food and beverage attendant
- front office assistant
- porter
- room attendant.
Completion requirements
To be awarded this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 12 units of competency, consisting of:
- 6 core units, plus
- 6 elective units.
